Acrylic on Canvas • 100cm x 100cm (39.37” x 39.37”)

My third large-scale artwork is an exploration of color and symmetry, the first piece I’ve ever designed to fill the entire canvas, and tied for largest.

It is composed of 16 distinct non-metallic hues arranged in symmetrical gradients, such that no two adjacent colors are the same throughout.

The concentric circle pattern is reminiscent of a supernova, with the pearl center emulating a star, the gold strands its solar rays, and the outburst of color gradients evoking the creation of periodic table elements.
